This ranch was originally a thoroughbred ranch for race horses. It has come through the years since the 1970's maintaining the horse occupation. It became High Star Farms LLC owned by Gerry & Harold Brown in the early months of 2003. Pure bred and part bred Arabian horses are raised and trained here. Our ranch is about 100 acres with a half mile acre track, 4 Kentucky style barns with 66 12 x 12 stalls and 15 larger stalls used for mares with their foals. Also a ten stall covered mare motel and numerous turn out pens and some large pastures. It is presently the home of the well known Burkman Center. Also on premises is Sue Burkman who is in charge of early training of young horses, breeding and foaling out mares. High Star Farms is owned and operated by Gerry Brown.
